Sheldon, a native of Detroit, MI, is an honor graduate of Mississippi College with a marketing degree. He graduated from the Community Development Institute in Conway, AR and has cultivated his skills as a strategic planner. Sheldon supervised community development for a utility company and later became vice president for United Way of the Capital Area. As an experienced cook and certified baker, he is frequently sought during holidays, birthdays and receptions. Sheldon is also a singer, songwriter and recording artist, and has been booked for concerts and as a motivational speaker in over 700 churches. Over the last 16 years he has performed for several governors, scores of weddings, and many political and prestigious affairs. Notable appearances include Dateline NBC and the Oprah Show.
Zetella, a native of New York, attended Mississippi College and Jackson State University and has been a successful entrepreneur. As a graduate of the Mississippi Realtors Institute, she has made a good living as an investor while providing affordable housing in the community. Zetella is a graduate of studies through The Wilton School for Cake Decorating and Confectionery Art and has expressed her creativity and displayed her talents at a variety of events and special celebrations.
Both Sheldon and Zetella had successful marketing businesses, which involved extensive event coordinating on local, regional and national levels. Together with several local leaders, they led the expansion of a national company in the Mississippi Area. Although they enjoyed the success of this, they found themselves weary from being on the road with hardly any time at home.
Zetella realized the need for a one-stop-shop wedding service provider at a local level. She realized that although the flare and excitement of impending nuptials can be intoxicating, it can also be overwhelming and stressful.
Zetella has the vision to create dream events where clients have little more to do than simply show up with their peace of mind and looking beautiful. After an inventory of the combined skills that family members had to offer with design and floral decor, this wonderful concept of a full service provider evolved.
As a result of her professionalism, quality and service, Zetella has enjoyed a steady clientele, through the benefit of word-of-mouth advertising. Gooch Consulting and Event Services, LLC is currently under expansion; the best is yet to come!
